American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO)
American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO)
American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO) is jointly developed by Southern Illinois University and SIMCC to give more STEM/STEAM opportunities. Our inaugural AMO enrolment was 18,000 participants, growing to 25,000 contestants from 31 countries, spanning grades 2 to 12. This is a testament to the dedication of each participant and the promise that AMO holds. This year, we are thrilled to announce that the top two contestants from grade 12 with the highest combined AMO 2023 score and IJHS Scholarship Points will be awarded a Tuition Scholarship worth US$28,000 each, providing a gateway to join Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) in the Fall semester of 2026.
