Singapore and ASIAN Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO)

Created in 2006, SASMO is one of largest math contests in Asia.

SASMO contests aim to stretch the untapped thinking potential of the student population, their participation in SASMO will help them improve in school mathematics as well as higher order thinking skills (HOTS)."

Eligible for Grades: Primary 1 to Junior College 2 (Grades 1 to 12)

Entry Requirements: None. Recommend Beginner entry via  AMO or SMC

Scholarship Points (SPs): Perfect Score=3 points, Gold=2 points, Silver=1 points, Bronze=0.5 point, Hon Mention=0.25 points
