STEAM AHEAD - International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO)

The International Junior Math Olympiad (UJMO) is an internationalmathematics competition which is held annually in different countriesglobally. UJMO is organised by SIMCC in collaboration with country councilpartners in over 50 countries to identify and encourage potential youngmath talents in every SIMCC participating country.

Mode of competition: Onsite

Competition Date: IJMO on 12 Dec, Award Ceremony on 16 Dec 2026

Eligible for Grades: Primary 1 to Junior College 2

Entry Requirements: UMO registration is limited to 1,500 slots, allocated strictly on a first-come, first-servedbasis. We regret to inform you that noadditional slots can be made available, as thecapacity is restricted by the examination venue.

Participants who achieved Silver and above in AMO 2025 and SASMO 2026 qualify to join IJMO directly without training. Those who achieved a Bronze in AMO 2025 and SASMO 2026 may join, but only through the lJMO training program.

For SMGF 2026, winners of Silver and above may participate without training, while Bronzeawardees may join with training.

For SIMOC 2026, winners of Bronze and above may join without training. Those who received an Honourable Mention (HM) are also eligible, but they must attend the training program.

Awards: Medal and Certificate- Individual - Top 10% Gold, 15% Silver, 25% Bronze, and 20% Hon Mention.    plus Overall Champion, Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up
